With less than a week left for fall semester, I find myself wondering how so many of us could have become so close in such a short amount of time. Just Saturday we were all talking about the process, the evolution, the long hours, the intense writings, and those dreaded peer reviews. The peer reviews have not been near as bad as we all thought. We have grown so much and discovered that we are writers. We can write, cite, and create while formulating new ideas about education.
I especially enjoyed hearing my colleagues on the position paper. I was amazed to hear some of their viewpoints– I guess I thought all of my peers had the same feeling about education that I do, but it was so nice to hear other viewpoints. This encouraged me to open up and think from a different perspective.
I think Ethics class this spring will be very exciting!!
