MBTI and Writing

One of the major take aways from the summer course for me was a better understanding of my preferences and learning style.   On the MBTI, I am an Extrovert with a score of 47.  Extraversion and writing do not exactly go together.  I work best when I am able to talk things out.  Having the time last class to actually talk about the prompt with my colleagues was invaluable.  After talking it out, I actually switched my prompt choices.  Spending the time talking through my thoughts and ideas, I feel much better about this week’s prompt.  I think I need to do more of this in the future.  I think by verbalizing my thoughts and organizing my thinking prior to writing, I will have an easier time with a better end result.
