About a month ago, I posted a brief commentary about a webinar I hosted for a few teachers in my building. The topic was the “flipped classroom”. As I told my colleagues at the start of the event, it seems as though every time I turned around in recent months this idea was being discussed. So, we participated in the webinar, held a follow up discussion, and now I am being invited to classrooms to see these great ideas in action. Not only is it terrific to get the feedback from the teachers about the impact on learning, but also to hear from the students who love to see their instructor’s willingness to try something new.
