Ethics Journal

I have often considered keeping a journal to be rather feminine. What I have enjoyed about this program, among other things, is that it has broadened my perspectives and broken some of my biases…like emasculation via journal keeping. Over the past month and a half we have been encouraged to capture moments and events that have promoted ethical decision-making and ethical navigation. While I originally thought this assignment was “fluffy” I have most certainly changed my mind, as I find myself in deep moments of reflection…so much so, that the process has changed some of my decisions before I have made them.

While I do not anticipate keeping a diary on my nightstand any time soon, a professional journal is a definite takeaway moving forward as a leader.
